The New Departure Bell Co. Acetylene Gas Lamp. A lamp manufactured under the auspices of the Joseph Lucas & Son, Co., an auxiliary company created as a joint stock company. Created in two guises, with one or two burner heads sharing a single gas production body that clamped to the down tube of the bicycle. This is a single head lamp dating circa 1899. Fundamentally sound with all fittings, the cap has been replaced, and the lower clip needs repair. AGL 255. 10-inches (16cm) long.
