SPEED GOD BY G. POITVIN. A high quality hollow cast accessory mascot, nickel-silver on brass, with a foundry socle of 'Contenot Le Livera' foundry to the side of the base and 'Made in France' engraved at the rear. Originally offered in the 1920s by Hermes in Paris, this example was retailed under licence by Finnigan's in London. Display-mounted, numbered 1568, 13-cms high.
