VARIOUS MEDALS etc. A 1914/15 Star named to 16502 Pte W Farnsworth E Yorks Regt. William Farnsworth served in France from 9/9/1915. He was in 1918 commissioned into the 1st/2nd Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. He was after the war living at 95 Sherburn Terrace, Consett, Co Durham in 1921. A Victory Medal named to 40736 Pte W C Hopkins Lincs R. Walter C Hopkins was entitled to a pair only. Italy Star, Defence & War Medals with associated paperwork and original news clippings, awarded to S/135254 Pte R (Ronald) J (John) Lilley RASC. A Silver War Badge numbered 392640 awarded to Fred West RASC, discharged 23/5/1918. A Silver War Badge number B289293, awarded to L/12748 Pte W (William) Shield East Surrey Regt. Enlisted 11/2/1915, discharged KR 12/12/1919. No service overseas. A Victory Medal in its original box of issue, named to Capt J G Connell. RFA then attached to the Air Ministry. A Victory Medal named to 42428 Pte A (Alfred) Booth KOYLI. Entitled to a pair only.
