Hugh Cochrane was awarded a 1914 Star for service in France 7/10/1914. He was discharged with a Silver War Badge in April 1919. SWB number B/226139.
A regular soldier who enlisted in the 14th Hussars in 1905. His Regiment were it seems still in India in September 1914
