*The Church of St John Fisher was built in 1953/54 with help from money gifted by the Bishop James Kearney of the Diocese of Rochester, New York. The architect was Harry Stuart Goodhart-Rendel (1887-1959) who commissioned tile reredoses from Joseph Ledger.
