A c1928 Le Chemineau of St Etienne,
a quality French Gentleman's bicycle with original green enamel finish with gilt lining and decals on the long wheelbase frame, square section mudguards, the front with a licence holder bracket, centre pull and interestingly designed calliper brakes, flat 20-inch handlebars, quick release wheels and distinctive of the maker, who was a pioneer of Derailleur gearing, an original Le Chemineau three-speed Derailleur is fitted and controlled by a delightful lever system on the top tube. A rare original example of the marque. See also lot 496.
