Lot 393
C.T.C. Gazette, 1898 to 1909.
Ten hardbound volumes, lacking the issues for 1900 and 1902, the monthly issues being bound without their covers/advertisements. Vol. XVII, 1898, small quarto, and Vol. XVIII, 1899, quarto, are uniformly bound in half-leather, both a little rubbed, no title pages or indices, whilst the remaining volumes, all quarto, are all cloth-bound, and all have title pages and indices. The volume for 1901, Vol. XX, is in plum-coloured cloth with gilt lettering to the spine, which is faded, whilst the last seven volumes, Vols. XXII to XXVIII, are uniformly well-bound in blue cloth with red leather title labels to the spines. All the volumes, which have monochrome photographic and engraved illustrations, appear to be complete and are generally in sound, clean condition, with just occasional foxing to some pages. (10)
