A rare thick small 8vo hardback volume (mit besonderer Berucksichtigung der Kriegs-Luftflotten 1.Jahrgang 1914. Mit teilmeiser Benutzung amtlicher Quellen), in rather soiled/marked pale yellow cloth with black lettering to the front cover and spine and with a colour image of the German flag affixed to the top half of the front cover. The contents are clean and sound and the volume is packed with aircraft plans, tables of information, photographs of planes, airships, engines, etc. (Mit 545 Bildern, Skizzen und Zeichnungen), pp ii, 528, xi. There are advertisements at the front and rear. There are three colour plates (Die Kriegflaggen der luftfahrenden Staaten & Signale) in addition to the stated pagination. The Editors were Ferdinand Rasch and Walter Hormel, and the volume was published in Munich, 1914.
