Casque's Stamp Collection of Famous Racing Drivers.
Dating from June 1930, a complete set, in a single sheet, of publicity stamps sold by the Autocar magazine to raise funds for a 'Mechanic's Trophy' for the winning car in the 1930 Ulster TT, and to assist the Weybridge Hospital which maintained an ambulance at the Brooklands Racing Circuit. The stamps, each with the name of the driver and significant award, inspection through a magnifying glass a delight. Unusual to have a complete set, framed and glazed. 17 x 13-inches.
