Leonard Bridgman (1895-1980): Aviation Artworks.
Three A4 Display Books, one A3 size similar, and another A4 size with brown soft plastic covers, all with clear polythene sleeves, containing approximately 150 pencil drawings and sketches of aeroplanes by the artist, predominantly of World War I and pre-World-War II aircraft, but some post World-War II, many with annotations by the artist, together with three further albums containing reproductions (in colour and monochrome) of the artist's paintings, and other artwork for aircraft companies and works of literature. The last sleeve of one of the folders holds a watercolour study by another hand of Latham's monoplane 'Antoinette' and a three-page letter from the artist, who signs off as 'Colin'.
