Mrs Jill Thomas - A Presentation Plaque.
Awarded to Mrs Thomas and inscribed, 'The First Lady driver to Cover Over 100 miles in the Hour (102.2M.P.H.) in a Fully Equipped Sports Car' driving a Frazer-Nash-B.M.W. at Brooklands on 12 September 1939. The 9cm x 9cm lacquered brass plaque with enamelled fittings and mounted to a marble base. Good condition save for a very small chip to the edge of the B.M.W. badge.
