Bonzo
a running bulldog puppy mascot. A fictional cartoon created in 1922 by British comic strip artist George Studdy. The character quickly rose to popularity in the 1920s. He starred in one of the world's first cartoons and became an inspiration for mass-market merchandise. Old style nickel-plating on brass, not mounted 5½-inches (14cms) long.
