A WATERS & CO FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS PISTOL.
A brass barrelled Blunderbuss Pistol with underslung sprung bayonet, brass action and silver hallmarked buttcap. (1781) Boxlock action with sliding safety catch, silver escutcheon plate behind. Steel trigger-guard and side mounted ramrod, the 5.1/2" bayonet is marked Tho-Gill. One Birmingham Proof Mark below the barrel, 18.3/4" with the bayonet extended.
