19THC FRENCH FASHION DOLL
circa 1870, a good quality swivel head on shoulder plate Fashion Doll probably by Jumeau, with almond shaped fixed blue eyes, painted mouth and pierced ears with earings. With brown hair over cork pate, gusseted leather body and original clothing including stockings and shoes. No visible marks, 14 1/2ins (37cms high).
*Previously part of a private museum and has been in a private collection for the last 15-18 years.
