Two autographed letters signed to Edward St John Mildmay, the first dated March 15th [18]92, offering congratulations, 'I am delighted to hear of the intended marriage of your daughter' and later, on June 27th [18]93, 'I am entirely obliged to you ... for the kind manner in which you have accepted my suggestion with reference to Colonel Augustus exchanging duties with you at the Wedding Ceremony on the 6th of July.' each 2pp, folded (2)
The wedding cited on July 6th 1893 was most probably the marriage of Prince George, Duke of York (later George V) and Princess Mary of Teck.
