A c1892 Leicester Cycle Co. 'Peregrine' Roadster. A cushion-tyred machine, the 30-inch front wheel is now pneumatic, and the 28-inch rear is solid tyring with a good tread. The 22-inch frame is black-enamelled, and sports a long-nose leather saddle, 25-inch handlebars which have been delightfully nickel-plated in the old style, a plunger brake, 6½-inch cranks, also nickel-plated, a 5-inch crank driving the rear sprocket with a 1¼-inch long link chain, block rubber pedals.
