A Semi-Lightweight 'Path Racer' by E. Regnier. The headstock badge announces that this bicycle was manufactured in Sarthe located in the Pays de la Loire region in northwest France. With a lug-less steering head but lugs on the bottom bracket and seat stem, other features include track-end rear forks, dropout front forks, long-link inch-pitch chain driving a fixed wheel, a 9-inch chain-wheel with 7-inch cranks, hickory rims with 26-inch tyres and stainless (?) spoking and a 'Brown' saddle of the B17 type. The set forward, deep-drop, 14-inch handlebars, have been nicely nickel-plated, as have the drive gear and rat-trap pedals.
