A c1929 Rudge Whitworth 'Aero Special Speed Iron'. Restored about 20 years ago, having a black-enamelled 24-inch frame. A good riding machine, featuring 26 x 1¼ Westwood rims fitted with new tyres, 21-inch wide handlebars, a Resilion front brake, together with a Rudge Whitworth pattern rod-operated rear brake, the wheel housing a Sturmey Archer 'K' series 3-speed hub gear, a Brooks B19 leather saddle with nose support, Powell and Hanmer alloy rear reflector, Brampton rat-trap pedals and a celluloid pump.
