Acetylene Gas Lamp by Otto Scharlach. Variously named either 'Otto' or 'Scharlach', a lamp dating between about 1903 and 1914. The distinguishing features are a side-mounted water control valve and adjustable carbide of calcium bowl tighteners. With original nickel-plating and fittings, unusually it includes a pull-flint lighter below the burner housing. 7-inches (17cm) high. ECL 101.
