An 1899 George Clowes Mfg. Co. 'Calcium King'.  A third model of the acetylene gas lamp, manufactured in Waterbury, Connecticut, USA between 1897 and 1900. Bicycle lamps are not usually consecutively numbered, but 'Calcium Kings' were, this example being numbered 15546. It comes with its original burner, carbide of calcium holder, hinging rear reflector, gas control valve and part bracket. 5½-inches (14cm). AGL 147.
