A Lucas Ltd. Second Model 'Acetylator' Bicycle Lamp.  Designed by Augustine Davidson, it was manufactured between 1899 and 1901. It is model No 315, an acetylene gas lamp, where the water reservoir is above the burner head and the carbide of calcium bowl at the base. It has been re-plated to a good standard and comes with its correct burner, perfect glasses, removable top and sprung damper. Several small dents. 5½-inches (14cm). ECL 93.
