A Lucas Ltd. First Model 'Luminator' Bicycle Lamp.  A rare lamp dating between 1900 and 1902. It is model No 316, a sandwich-format acetylene gas lamp, where the water reservoir is sandwiched between the burner head and the carbide of calcium bowl below, the acetylene gas being funnelled through the water reservoir. With its original nickel-plated finish, correct burner, perfect glasses and sprung damper. 7¼-inches (18cm) high. ECL 167.
