Lot 366

A Combination Oil Lamp & Bulb Horn.  A rare and interestingly-designed lamp, suitable for either a late Victorian motorcycle or bicycle. A single turn bulb horn but with a small lamp mounted into the 4-inch trumpet of the horn, the front bezel holding a plano-convex glass, hinging to reveal an oil reservoir, with a winding burner. The horn being nickel-plated brass, with an adjustable mount, active reed and red rubber bulb. Fundamentally sound, the unit has seen some use, with several dents and bruising. Display-mounted. 11-inches (28cm) long.
