Two rare and well-produced colour reproductions of vintage lithographic cycling advertising posters, comprising: Howe Bicycles Tricycles, manufactured by The Howe Machine Co. Ltd., Glasgow, the poster originally published by F. Appel, Paris, for an outlet of the company at 48 Boulevard de Sebastopol, Paris; together with Le Cyclone Cycle sans Chaine, manufactured by Milders Fils Constucteurs, Paris, the poster originally published by Lemercier, Paris, this reproduction printed in the Netherlands. Each depicts a gentleman in period costume standing by his machine against a scenic background, and the two are similarly mounted, framed and glazed. Image sizes 72.5 x 46cm and 73 x 48.5cm respectively. Good condition (2)
