Thomas Arthur (Tom) Browne (1872-1910) Stone Deaf.  A vertical format part hand-coloured print taken from a Victorian issue of the "Boy's Own Paper", depicting an elderly lady purposefully stepping out along the middle of the highway and laden with shopping, whilst behind her a group of cyclists approach down the hill, the leader perched atop a high bicycle which, from the look of dismay on his face, is obviously out of control. Printed title in the lower margin and printed artist's signature in the bottom right-hand corner of the image. Sheet size 37 x 25cm. Mounted, framed and glazed. Some browning/staining through age, but otherwise in good, un-creased condition.

“I have been just so pleased with the excellent prices achieved throughout the disposal process and the efficiency of all the administration including prompt payment. It is so rewarding to deal with a company that handles its affairs in such an honest and professional manner. I’d gladly recommend Lawrence’s without hesitation.”
