Michael Wright (b. 1935) Monaco G.P. 1948. A large, horizontal format watercolour depicting a crowded scene in the final stages of the race when, after 100 laps, Giuseppe Farina (Italy), driving a Maserati 4CLT, won the Grand Prix, with Louis Chiron (Monaco), driving a Talbot-Lago T26, coming second. Signed in the bottom right-hand corner, with the title printed by the artist below his signature. Framed and glazed in non-reflective glass. Good condition. 69.5 x 104.5cm.
