Howie, Charles. Musci Fifensis: Specimens of the Mosses of Fifeshire, an album containing 89 [of 112] dried specimen sheets, contemporary half calf, worn, 8vo, [c.1890] Charles Howie (1811-1899) was a Scottish nurseryman, naturalist and author of The Moss Flora of Fife and Kinross (1884). Included with this lot is a medium suitcase of moss specimens, c. 1920s.
