the elaborate desk all over inlaid with bone, ebony and mother-of-pearl banding in geometric patterns, the desk with a rectangular top with baize writing surface, with two columns of three short drawers with bobbin turned and gallery cresting to the back, above a central arch flanked by two pairs of two short drawers and a central arch, on turned legs, 111cm high, 110cm wide.
