A CHINESE EXPORT LACQUER WORK SEWING CABINET,
with a rising rectangular top decorated with typical Chinese scenes in gold against a black ground, the interior fitted with a selection of lidded compartments and ivory fittings, all similarly decorated, with a fabric basket, between twin pierced 'trestle' supports and platform stretcher, with carved and gilt animal paw feet, 70cm high, 63cm wide.
