the white enamelled dial with Roman numerals, with an eight day two train 'Japy' type movement striking on a bell, with an elaborate 'grid-iron' pendulum, the ebonised case with a scrolling inlaid cornice on four spiral turned uprights and conforming platform base, 48cm high, 25cm wide.
