Exhibited: London, The Royal Academy, 1875, no.318, identified as a portrait of `Mr [George Henry] Boughton`. Boughton evidently returned the compliment: his portrait of `Master Graham Pettie: costume of the seventeenth century` was shown at the RA in 1876, no.34
