an interesting elm chair with panel seat, with wide curved arms supported on curved supports. Back panel carved with crest and Latin motto Post Nubibus Phoebus, Made by P of W, St Helena, 1902. 88cms high
*From 1900-1902 St Helena became the first overseas Prisoner of War camp. During the Boer War the camp had to house up to 6000 Boer Prisoners of War.
