PETER NEWSOME - GLASS SCULPTURES
a large green glass sculpture by Peter Newsome, with slices of irregular shaped glass mounted on a clear glass plinth (47cms high). Also with another glass sculpture, with sections of glass making a crescent shaped sculpture, also mounted on a clear glass base (34cms high). Both signed, Peter Newsome. (2)
*Newsome was born in 1943 and educated at Brunel University. He is an associated member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors, and and elected member of the Society of Designer Craftsman and Contemporary Glass Society. He has held various exhibitions in the UK and USA, and has created items for public and private clients including Peter Gabriel.
