a large teak sideboard circa 1960's, with 4 drawers (1 with cutlery compartments) and 2 sliding doors to reveal shelves inside. Supported on tapering legs, stamped underneath 653. Marked inside the drawer, Dalescraft Fine Furniture.
*Dalescraft was a British furniture maker making good quality furniture in the 1960's for department stores like Heals. They were influenced by Scandinavian furniture made at that time, and many were designed by David Walker who joined the firm in the early 1950's.
