Meiji period, of squat form and painted with a procession of figures holding lanterns and flags, with panels of flowers and gilded decoration, with Dragonflies around the lid and as a finial (finial damaged). Supported on three curved feet. Various character marks to base (Kyoto Ryozan, Okamoto Ryozan, made for Yasuda). 11cms high
