MAMLUK - BRASS & SILVER INLAID BOWL
a wonderful quality Mamluk Revival Damascus Cairoware bowl, made in brass with copper bordered panels of silver inlaid decoration and calligraphy. Probably late 19thc or early 20thc. 17.5cms across, 8cms high
*Acquired by Carrington Bonsor Williams FRS (1889-1981) whist working in Egypt in the 1920's.
