A GEORGE II COFFEE POT of tapering cylindrical form on a large spreading circular foot, with a leaf-capped, fluted spout, the double-domed cover with a knop finial, engraved underneath with the initials "DD" over "AH" and on the side with a coat of arms, maker's mark partially unclear, by Francis Pages*, London 1748 *Francis Pages was apprenticed to David Willaume Arms for Arthur Holdsworth Initials, presumably for "Dono dedit Arthur Holdsworth"
