in the form of a flying phallus with wings, legs and a small bell, 15th century; approx. 1" (2.5 cms) long
*Towards the end of the medieval period there seemed to be a trend for these small badges to be rather coarse in form, often featuring male & female genitalia, sometimes both- the significance of which is not easily explained or fully understood.
