in a fitted, brass bound wooden box to include:-
Twelve table spoons, sixteen table forks,
fifteen dessert spoons, twelve dessert forks,
fourteen tea spoons (1 A/F), two butter knives,
four sauce ladles, three mustard spoons,
one sugar sifter ladle, one soup ladle and
two basting spoons, all by S. Hayne & D. Cater, London 1838
together with
a fish slice by the same makers, London 1836,
a set of six salt spoons by Charles Boyton, London 1823,
a pair of Victorian King's pattern salad servers,
a pair of King's pattern sugar tongs
and the following with stainless steel blades & tines:-
A set of twelve King's pattern table knives,
eleven side knives and a five-piece carving set
by the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co.Ltd., London 1949, all of the above crested to match;
the box measuring 22.2" (56.3 cms) long; 260.5 oz weighable silver
