A SMALL CONTINENTAL CAST FIGURE OF A FRANCISCAN FRIAR with tonsure, and the infant Jesus perched upon his right hand, the remains of something in his left, representing St. Anthony of Padua*, on a square plinth base with a pendant loop high upon his back, unmarked, probably 16th century, Spanish/Italian; 2.3" (6 cms) high; 2 oz *St Anthony is known as the Patron Saint or finder of lost articles.
