pierced "MADEIRA", maker's mark only "GC", Colonial/ Provincial 1830-50, together with a crescent wine label incised "MADEIRA", maker's mark only "WM", possbily Scottish c.1800 and a George II escutcheon label incised "MADERA"*, unmarked, probably Newcastle-made c.1750; the latter 2.2" (5.5 cms) wide; 1.35 oz (3)
*Note the mis-spelling of "MADEIRA".
