a brass cased barometer and thermometer, with a silvered dial and in a fitted wooden case. Marked E J Dent, Paris, and with a retail plaque on the case for C W Dixeys, Optician to the Queen, New Bond St, London, glass face cracked and needs replacing (dial 10cms diameter). Also with a gimbal compass on a stand. (2)
