MILITARY DIORAMA - WILLIAM CARMAN a Military Diorama in a glass case, with a label which reads First Foot Guards on Tower Green, 1661 Diorama, W Y Carman. Case 47 by 31cms. *William Carman 1909-2003 was engaged in Military research and writing. After serving in the army during WW2 he joined the staff of the Imperial War Museum, and then became Deputy Director of the National Army Museum, Sandhurst. As a member of the British Models Soldiers Society he made and sold his own flat and solid figures.
