A '1946' EMBROIDERED CREAM CREPE BIAS CUT WEDDING GOWN
This dress was made for an Aristocrat's wedding just after the war in Lincoln Cathedral on 14th December 1946.
Embroidered cream silk bias cut o create a beautiful silhouette, with pretty v neck, diamond waistband, pleating down the back of the dress to a slight train. Attached belt with three fabric covered buttons, fastening at the side with poppers. Long sleeves running to a point at the wrist, fastening with poppers at the cuff. Waist 26". (1)
