A QING DYNASTY CHINESE EMBROIDERED PANEL A rich embroidery of flowers, birds and butterflies. Embroidered in satin stitch and gold couch work. Depicting a peony in a vase invoking "safety and honour", a gold couched pomegranite with peaches , silk embroidered birds and butterflies on a red silk ground. Framed in a bespoke wooden case with lattice metal catches. (1)
