A C19TH LADIES CHINESE ROBE
A midnight blue silk satin robe , embroidered in peking knot and satin stitch in mainly blue and white silks designed with peonies, lotus flowers, butterflies, within a satin stitch border. Having embroidered cream silk sleeve bands depicting a scene of two ladies by a pagoda surrounded with flowers. The robe has a pale blue silk damask lining. Front opening is straight with fabric buttons. (some damage).
