with a husk and scroll border, engraved in the centre with a lozenge-shaped coat of arms* within a rocaille cartouche & resting on three feet, the reverse with the scratchweight "14-4", maker's mark only "JM" (script), struck twice, unascribed, possibly Irish, by John Moore, Dublin c.1760; 8" (20.3 cms) diameter; 14.1 oz
