CHINESE BRONZE RITUAL LIDDED PEDESTAL BOWL - DOU, EASTERN ZHOU DYNASTY
a ritual food vessel, the bowl raised on a stepped pedestal foot, with a circular handle to each side of the body, decorated with two bands of leiwen, below a further band to the domed cover, and the wide flaring finial. Some damages, 17cms high, also with one volume of Early Chinese Bronzes, Albert J Koop, 1924. (2)
