COLLECTION OF CHINESE SEALS
late Qing Dynasty, comprising a pale celadon 18thc style oval seal carved with a recumbent lion (3.2cms high), a white and pale green jadeite cylindrical seal surmounted with a Buddhist lion (5.5cms high), two spinach jade seals surmounted with lions (6cms high, no seal marks to base)), a pair of beige and brown flecked reddish soapstone mountain form carvings in shallow relief (12.5cms high), a bronze square seal surmounted with a seated Buddhist lion (5cms high), and 3 other carved soapstone seals all mounted with Buddhist lions. Also with a small metal Chinese box with seal inside. (11)
