A silver medal awarded by Sparkhill & District Amateur Horticultural Society to R. Holding for Premier Auricula, 18th April 1903, the obverse with a finely worked display of fruit and flowers, hallmarked for 1903, 4.4cm, in Vaughton and Sons case of issue, with a similar Birmingham Chrysanthemum Society silver award from 1900 and a 'best evening school garden' award from 1923. 3 awards, c129.9g.
